| | Objectives: | Design, development and realisation of control tasks for automation technology systematically like measurement, open loop, closed looop control, computing using microcontrollers, electronic circuits, standard computerhardware (programmable logic controller), software, norms, software engineering tools.
| | Contents: | Presentation of principle tasks for process control in automation technology and design of solutions using software engineering tools and norms; basics of methods and components of process instrumentation and control; introduction to functions and hardware of control system equipment. Introduction to industrial communication and "human machine interface systems".
Realisation of controlfunctions by design and development of hardware, i.e. electronic circuits for interfaces and for measurement; and development of software using standard programming languages.
