Requirements:	Basing on the contents of the courses „Ingenieurwissen-schaftliche Grundlagen“, „Mechanik I“ and „Mechanik II“.
Objectives:	Basing on the contents of the courses „Ingenieurwissen-schaftliche Grundlagen“, „Mechanik I“ and „Mechanik II“ students of Mechatronic and Medical Engineering get an introduction into basics of design and calculation of clutches, basics of toothed wheels and design of toothed gearings. An overview about transmission of power and movements by gears, friction wheels, pulling equipment and special drives is given. An introduction into design rules for precision engineering devices is given.
