| Objectives: | During the industrial placement, students will gain valuable work experience in a company. The placement is an integral part of the degree course and further emphasizes the hands-on approach of the course, in addition to the practical work in the scientific facilities of the university. The aim of the industrial placement is the application of the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during the first semesters by working in industrial companies. Students will gain an insight into organisational structures, development processes and production sequences under certain technical and economic conditions. The industrial placement is also meant to give a fresh impetus for the further course of study and will be very helpful when entering the job market. The industrial placement can also be spent abroad. |
