Exam requirements:
Objectives:	The course shall give a survey about operation technics and the advantage and disadvantage of different material groups for endo-protheseses. Improvment of understanding between engineers and medical doctors.
Course contents:	Mechanical and chemical forces on endo-protheseses. Reaction of the body to differnet material groups. Advantages of soluble and permanent materials. Damage by corrosion. Operation technics. Osteo synthesis. Healing of fraktures. Post operation treatment.
