Exam requirements:	Participation in all laboratory experiments; documentation and report plus presentation respectively.
Objectives:	Extension of the topics covered in the lecture by selected laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
Course contents:	Physical-Vapor-Deposition of TiN; elecrochemical deposition (ECD) of Ni-coatings; investigation of materials and surfaces (fractography) by Scanning-Electron-Mikroscopy (SEM) and Energy-Dispersive-X-Ray Analysis (EDX); non-destructive testing (NDT), especially Ultrasonic-Testing (UT).
